Nagyon látszott a fiúkon, hogy az Anfield-en akarják eldönteni a továbbjutást, ennek megfelelően elég gyámoltalanok voltunk támadásban. A szélek hiányoztak nagyon, főként a jobb, Zenden kellemesen meglepett engem, viszont a jobb szélen nagyon hiányzott Finnan és Pennant (neki még bemelegedni se volt ideje). Szerk: Nah, sebaj.... az ilyen végjáték inkább már amolyan orosz Rulett, ill. a kapusok játéka... két egymást nagyon jól ismerő csapat, hasonló teljesítményét láthattuk és a szerencsésebb fél győzött... azért egy kicsit ez több volt a szerencsénél, sokkal jobban akartuk ezt a továbbjutást, a cselszki egy darab görcs volt. Azt igérték, hogy támadni fognak, ehhez képest nem sokat veszélyeztettek. Szegény Kuyt megérdemelt volna egy gólt, ott volt a kapufája és a megnemadott is, de így jól jött ki, hogy ő rúgta az utolsót. Még annak örültem volna, ha Fowler is rúghatott volna egy tizenegyest, eddig nem sokat tudott hozzátenni a BL menetelésünkhöz, a tizit meg simán bevágta volna.
