1. Battle Beast - Circus Of Doom (Deluxe Edition) (2022) 44.1-24 Country: Finland Genre: Heavy metal,Power metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 49:23 Full Size: 659.02 MB After re-signing to Nuclear Blast in early 2021, the Finnish heavy metal sextet BATTLE BEAST are once again getting ready to unleash their force upon the world in the shape of their brand new masterpiece »Circus of Doom«. The album is set to be released on January 21st 2022 via Nuclear Blast and in true BATTLE BEAST fashion, the 10 tracks blend true heavy metal with pop and rock-vibes, paired with Noora Louhimo's unique voice. "Our goal was to make an interesting and absorbing album, with both lighter party songs and heavier stuff as well. In a way the whole album is like a joyful day at the circus. Full of enchanting surprises and wild carnival atmosphere", explains keyboardist Janne Bjorkroth. "Battle Beast do their best balancing act on Circus Of Doom. As much as the album offers an escape from the circus of doom our day to day lives are consumed with currently, their tales of fantastical worlds and journeys hit closer to home than you might think. Master Of Illusion tells the tale of a self-centred, narrow-minded human being, whilst Where Angels Fear To Fly sings of those who've made the world a better place. In many ways, Circus Of Doom is a moral compass holding up a mirror to the choices we're making as a global community, from bumbling politicians to forward-thinking activists. Considering the album begins with its darker tales, and ends on more positive notes, it's no surprise its messaging feels like a Disney movie. Battle Beast have long gone under the radar against power metal's masters. On Circus Of Doom, they step out of the shadows and announce their long-awaited arrival as heirs to the throne.) 2. Reef - Shoot Me Your Ace (2022) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:46 Full Size: 534.57 MB The enduring Brit-rockers continue their comeback, following 2018's Revelation (their first album in 18 years) with this sixth full-length. Produced by Duran Duran's Andy Taylor, now Reef's second guitarist, it's a loud, raw, raucous hard rock & roll album that sees the band rocking as hard as they ever have, as heard on the pre-released title track. © John D. 4. Roxy Music - Manifesto 1979 (2015) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock,Pop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 43:11 Full Size: 887.59 MB Returning to action after four years of solo projects, Roxy Music redefined its sound and agenda on Manifesto. More than ever, Roxy sounds like Bryan Ferry's backing band, as the group strips away its art rock influences, edits out the instrumental interludes in favor of concise pop songs, and adds layers of stylish disco rhythms. Although the songwriting is distressingly inconsistent, there are a number of wonderful moments on the record, particularly in the sighing "Angel Eyes" and the heartbroken "Dance Away." Still, trading sonic adventure for lush, accessible disco-pop isn't entirely satisfactory, even if it is momentarily seductive. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/316aa5a7-8c01-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
5. Black Sabbath - The End - Live In Birmingham (2017) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Hard Rock,Heavy Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:47:49 Full Size: 2.44 GB The circle is closed. In Birmingham, the holy ground where the group was born, Black Sabbath is preaching the final verse of a testament that began in 1970. Recorded live on 4th February 2017, which must have reduced to tears an audience of die-hard fans now on the verge of becoming orphans, it foams with riffs which have passed into legend from Black Sabbath, Behind The Wall Of Sleep, N.I.B. and Iron Man, which they had stopped playing. The four apostles can now ditch their robes and relax in the slippers of their retirement. Their final sacraments have been given. The coffin may have disappeared into the earth: but they have left a headstone where future converts will read the commandments of heavy metal. In the new era which is now opening, Ozzy Osbourne will still shake the windows of his cathedrals. © CS/Qobuz Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/45e449bf-c9fd-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

9. George Thorogood & The Destroyers - Maverick 1985 (2021) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues rock, Boogie rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 43:35 Full Size: 1.62 GB Maverick is the sixth album by the band George Thorogood and the Destroyers. It was produced by Terry Manning and released in January 1985. Some of its songs are among Thorogood's best-known, including "I Drink Alone" and "Willie and the Hand Jive", the latter being his only single to reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart. George Thorogood is forever consistent and Maverick is more of the blues/rock driving sound the journeyman guitarist is known for. John Lee Hooker's "Crawling King Snake" is what you expect from this crew while "Memphis, Tennessee" bursts at the seams with George's trademark slide and Hank Carter's saxophone. Recorded at the legendary Dimension Sound Studio in July of 1984 on the outskirts of Boston, the earthy sound catches all the band's primal energy from opener "Gear Jammer" to the wailing sax of "Long Gone." There are only four originals from Thorogood, the album chock full of Johnny Otis, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, John Lee Hooker and others. It is territory that the group has covered on pretty much every previous record, but it's done with the artistic passion that makes it real. The vocal on "What a Price" full of torment, it's a nice contrast to the rocking numbers. © Joe Viglione /TiVo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/ef4cdc08-c2d3-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

11. David Bowie - Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) (1980) [2017] 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 45:43 Full Size: 1.84 GB David Bowie returned to relatively conventional rock & roll with Scary Monsters, an album that effectively acts as an encapsulation of all his '70s experiments. Reworking glam rock themes with avant-garde synth flourishes, and reversing the process as well, Bowie creates dense but accessible music throughout Scary Monsters. Though it doesn't have the vision of his other classic records, it wasn't designed to break new ground -- it was created as the culmination of Bowie's experimental genre-shifting of the '70s. As a result, Scary Monsters is Bowie's last great album. While the music isn't far removed from the post-punk of the early '80s, it does sound fresh, hip, and contemporary, which is something Bowie lost over the course of the '80s. [Rykodisc's 1992 reissue includes re-recorded versions of "Space Oddity" and "Panic in Detroit," the Japanese single "Crystal Japan," and the British single "Alabama Song."] © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/ef60e7f4-c541-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
12. Halsey - Manic (Digital Expanded Edition) (2020) 44.1-24 Country: USA Genre: Alternative,Indie Pop,Electropop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:23:02 Full Size: 971.1 MB As they were in the throes of completing their third studio album in 2019, Halsey told Rolling Stone the record would contain "hip-hop, rock, country, f***ing everything because it's so manic. It's soooooo manic." It was so manic, Halsey decided Manic was the right title for this high-profile album, the first they've released since 2017's Hopeless Fountain Kingdom helped turn them into a regular presence at the top of the charts. As it turns out, Manic is indeed an appropriate name for an album so filled with twists and turns it feels like a double-LP crammed into the course of a 47-minute record. Such a description is slightly misleading, though, suggesting that the album contains a series of distinct shifts in mood when it is very much a record of its moment, thrumming along to the tasteful shape-shifting hybrids that populate playlists of all genres. Listen closely, certain stylistic aspects assert themselves -- a fingerpicked guitar line rolls along here, there's a reggae bounce there -- and their choice of guest stars is telling. Alanis Morissette -- who is by some measures a clear precursor to Halsey -- vies with rapper Dominic Fike and Suga of K-pop sensations BTS for the splashiest cameo, with each of their appearances labeled as an "interlude." The lack of concrete song titles winds up emphasizing the presence of artists who cross genres, a clear sign of how Manic's seemingly scattershot appearance disguises that Halsey designed the album to appeal to as broad an audience as possible, streamlining all these sounds so they slide onto every conceivable playlist. It's a shrewd ploy that winds up not seeming crass thanks to Halsey's affectless emo bloodletting -- she never resists an opportunity to hit their target squarely on the nose, such as the "I'm so glad I never ever had a baby with you" refrain on "You Should Be Sad" -- and the clever way Manic is sequenced. The artiest, wobbliest songs start the record, followed by their saddest and starkest ballads, so it takes a while before it settles into its comfortable groove of adolescent angst doubling as AAA crossover pop. Such distinctions would be lost on the playlists individual tracks may later call home, but assembled in this fashion as a proper album, Manic showcases Halsey at their nerviest and at their best. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/cb0a9c63-6fea-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

21. Don Airey - Live in Hamburg (2021) 48-24 Country: UK Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:40:08 Full Size: 1.25 GB Don Airey is the keyboard player of Deep Purple. From his works with Ozzy Osbourne on the first albums, through Michael Schenker Group, three great album with Rainbow (together with Roger Glover and of course Ritchie Blackmore), until playing all keyboards on Whitesnake's smash album "1987", Judas Priest's Painkiller and many albums from Gary Moore, including the hit "Still Got The Blues" for which Airey wrote and arranged all the orchestral parts. 22. Beth Hart - Better Than Home (Deluxe Edition) 2015 (2022) 88.2-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [88,2 kHz/24 bit] Time: 56:29 Full Size: 1.01 GB Better Than Home is the seventh solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Beth Hart. Hart's husband and her manager convinced her to work with the production team of Rob Mathes and Michael Stevens, whom she had met when she performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. Hart had worked with Kevin Shirley for her last three albums, but she was persuaded to try a different team and go a different direction. The production team challenged Hart to leave behind the darker themes and to "write more about my joy and what I believe in and what my love is." Hart was pushed to write songs that came from a different source, from when she was happy or having a good time. One song on the album, "Tell Her You Belong to Me", took her a year and a half to write. "Hart explores new realms on Better Than Home, both creatively and production-wise. In addition to balancing sensitive songwriting topics with moments of hope and reflection, Hart also found new producers in Michael Stevens and Rob Mathes, both of whom Hart met after performing at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. Better Than Home shows Hart moving forward as a musician and songwriter." (Meghan Roos, bluesrockreview.com) "Separating from producer Kevin Shirley for the first time in three records, Beth Hart chose to work with Rob Mathes and Michael Stevens for 2015's Better Than Home. A change in producers helped Hart change direction, letting her depart from the down-and-dirty blues belting she specialized in throughout her time with Shirley, reconnecting slightly to her singer/songwriter beginning while emphasizing deep soul roots. Despite opening with the tight Memphis groove of "Might as Well Smile," most of the album is grandly introspective -- majestic brooding ballads with a clear debt to early Elton John. This cinematic landscape provides a nice contrast to Hart's raw, nervy vocals, accentuating the aching in her delivery. This emotional immediacy compensates for the sometimes elliptical songs, songs that take a little while to settle, but the risks Hart's taken on Better Than Home pay off: this is a distinctive, ambitious record that takes advantage of her natural talents in surprising ways." 24. Aevum - Glitch (2022) 44.1-24 Country: Italy Genre: Symphonic industrial metal,Electronic Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 52:57 Full Size: 702.66 MB The members of AEVUM from Italy and France have, since their foundation in 2012, developed a musical style that always was bound to their strong influences of Symphonic and Industrial Metal, yet breaking the bonds of the genre, by thinking outside of the box. The glorious new album of follows the footsteps of Bands like NIGHTWISH, WITHIN TEMPTATION, FEAR FACTORY, EPICA and more. Love and affinity towards symphonic Sounds, Industrial, lifeblood, imaginativeness and much more has to be mentioned to handle such a task. And yet, the 8 musicians from France and Italy undeterredly follow that path, while they are firing a salvo of powerful tracks consisting of guitar-riffs meeting skincrawling orchestral and electronic elements. AEVUM are integrating themselves seamlessly into the force of nature of symphonic industrial metal. So, who doesn't miss to listen to "Glitch", will surely find a lot of enrichments for his personal favourite-list. 25. David Bowie - Aladdin Sane 1973 (2015) 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 41:46 Full Size: 1.61 GB Ziggy Stardust wrote the blueprint for David Bowie's hard-rocking glam, and Aladdin Sane essentially follows the pattern, for both better and worse. A lighter affair than Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane is actually a stranger album than its predecessor, buoyed by bizarre lounge-jazz flourishes from pianist Mick Garson and a handful of winding, vaguely experimental songs. Bowie abandons his futuristic obsessions to concentrate on the detached cool of New York and London hipsters, as on the compressed rockers "Watch That Man," "Cracked Actor," and "The Jean Genie." Bowie follows the hard stuff with the jazzy, dissonant sprawls of "Lady Grinning Soul," "Aladdin Sane," and "Time," all of which manage to be both campy and avant-garde simultaneously, while the sweepingly cinematic "Drive-In Saturday" is a soaring fusion of sci-fi doo wop and melodramatic teenage glam. He lets his paranoia slip through in the clenched rhythms of "Panic in Detroit," as well as on his oddly clueless cover of "Let's Spend the Night Together." For all the pleasures on Aladdin Sane, there's no distinctive sound or theme to make the album cohesive; it's Bowie riding the wake of Ziggy Stardust, which means there's a wealth of classic material here, but not enough focus to make the album itself a classic. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/ef60e7f4-c541-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
